Abstract:
This study aims to know the importance of emotions and their impact on human nature, as well as their types and dimensions, and their impact on human nature as well as their types and societal extent. It sheds light on the concept of emotions according to one of the Western philosophers who had an important influence on modern philosophy, and how he defined emotions in general and the most important basic divisions of emotions according to him. We single out. sadness and joy (which are important and influential emotions on the philosophy of human nature, and from them all other emotions are derived. They are transitions from one state to another, and in general they proceed according to the law of human nature and do not deviate from it and change from one form to another. What distinguishes emotions according to Spinoza is that they are objective things. In that they are real facts that have objective force and should be studied and viewed with the same force with which mental facts are viewed, emotions are therefore a real and realistic thing. The study dealt with the definition of emotions according to Spinoza, as well as their basic types and their representation in human nature, as well as the definition of the emotions of joy and sadness Because of their connection to other emotions.
