DUTIES OF AUTHORS
Reporting standards
Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data should be correctly reflected in the document. To allow others to reproduce the work, a paper should include ample detail and references. Fraudulent or intentionally false claims constitute unethical actions and are inappropriate.
Data Access and Retention
Authors may be required to provide raw data in the form of an editorial review paper and should be prepared, where possible, to provide public access to such data and, in any case, be prepared to maintain such data for a fair period of time after publication.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors should confirm that they have written fully original works, and this must be properly referenced or quoted if the authors have used the work and/or words of others. Submission is an indication that the manuscript has not been previously published and is not being considered elsewhere for publication. Authors would be supposed to sign a copyright transfer document (to be issued by the Editor) before the manuscript could be published. You are considered to have given permission to print the manuscript by mailing the manuscript to the editor or publisher.
Multiple Publications
Manuscripts detailing exactly the same study should not necessarily be published by an author in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal constitutes unethical and inappropriate publishing conduct.
Acknowledgement of Sources
Proper acknowledgement of others' work must always be given. In deciding the essence of the recorded work, writers should cite publications that were influential.
Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a substantial contribution to the reporting study's creation, design, execution or interpretation. As co-authors, all those who have made valuable contributions should be mentioned. They should be remembered or identified as participants where others have engaged in some substantive aspects of the research project.
